About

Sana Faheema is an architect, artist and designer of all things creative. As an architect, she specialises in interior design and has long been keen on understanding how spatial design shapes human behaviour. People's emotions are influenced by their surroundings and the responsibility of carefully designing that space falls on the architect.

Accordingly, Sana designs her buildings and interiors through an understanding of human interaction with different volumes, textures, colours and light. In the 'Museum of Freedom Struggle' which she designed in India, every space is carefully designed to help visitors feel the emotion of each event in the timeline. This experience helped Sana in her subsequent projects to design user-friendly spaces. Her journey as a curious architect still grows everyday; with every new country she visits, she learns a little bit more outside of her comfort zone.

Much before her architectural pursuits, Sana was also an early artist — a journey that helped inform and shape her creative design sense. Starting out with a colouring book and some paint supplies bought from the toy store as a young girl, she found it to be her favourite pastime. Through the years, her attention to detail and hands-on skills improved and she has now built a large audience and clientele for her paintings. She has conducted multiple workshops and been featured in the Hindustan Times, a leading Indian newspaper. Apart from working with individual clients, Sana has also collaborated with brands and companies to work on large-scale projects. Her time as a professional artist has also helped improve her time management and client communication skills.

Separately, in 2021, Sana collaborated with Anagha Arunkumar to launch Chhavi Design, a passion project in graphic design. Still in its early stages, Chhavi Design has already created brand identities, brand products, book covers and luxury wedding invitations for various clients, and is now building to many more exciting projects.
